The company has been named as a finalist in both the Best Efficiency and Transformation Initiative and Best Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship Initiative categories.

The APSE awards are for all local authorities and their public-sector partners across the United Kingdom. They recognise frontline services teams and special initiatives.

LNPS Managing Director Paul Cooper said:

We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in two categories of these very sought-after awards. We are doing a lot to set trends in our industry and by sharing our success and ideas we hope that others will be able to learn from what we have achieved – especially when it comes to our innovative pest proofing service.

Paul Cooper, LNPS Managing Director

Speaking about the awards, Mo Baines, APSE Chief Executive, said:

"Across local government, there is a multitude of people working to deliver the very best for their local communities. At a time when national politics is dominating the headlines, it is more vital than ever that we acknowledge the dedication of our frontline service teams and the positive impact they have on their communities.

“Frontline services have a profound impact on people’s day-to-day lives, and APSE is proud to give local authorities the recognition they deserve through the Annual Service Awards. This year’s finalists are a testament to the innovation, dedication and perseverance shown by the unsung heroes of local government across the UK. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.”

The winners will be announced at the APSE Annual Charity Awards Dinner, which will benefit Parkinson’s UK and be held on Thursday, 12 September 2024, at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel.

London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) is a multi-award-winning Pest Control Company wholly owned by the London Borough of Newham.
