New member benefit: Government-endorsed quality pest management through TrustMark Scheme

MEMBERSHIP

BPCA Servicing members will now become TrustMark registered as part of their membership for no additional cost.

TrustMark is the only UK Government-endorsed quality scheme for home improvements, and BPCA is the only Scheme Provider for the pest control industry.

The TrustMark Code of Conduct has now been adopted as a BPCA Code, making it a part of membership criteria.

BPCA Chief Executive Ian Andrew said:

“BPCA Servicing members will join over 15,000 other tradespeople endorsed by the Government via the TrustMark Quality Scheme.

“We’ve always known that BPCA membership is the highest standard for pest management in the UK.

Being designated as a TrustMark Scheme Provider means we’re now in a position to register 100% of our Servicing members with TrustMark, with no additional checks beyond our already stringent processes.

BPCA Servicing members will soon be contacted directly by TrustMark with their welcome pack and access to the TrustMark portal.

BPCA members will then be able to display the TrustMark “Government-Endorsed Quality” logo on all their promotional materials and will appear on the TrustMark ‘Find a Business’ online directory.

There are no additional charges to join the scheme.

A proud day for BPCA members

Head of Membership Dee Ward-Thompson said:

“We’ve been working on this collaboration for a while now.

“The TrustMark team rigorously assessed our processes and procedures and were happy that our members met their stringent requirements.

“By choosing to become a BPCA member, companies submit themselves to our assessments and criteria to reassure their clients they’re in safe hands.

“This new collaboration between BPCA and TrustMark means the dedication of our members will be rewarded with the TrustMark registration.

I personally can’t wait to see TrustMark ‘Government-Endorsed Quality’ on the back of pest control vans across the country, alongside the BPCA member logo.

Dee Ward-Thompson, BPCA Head of Membership

Nicola Waller, Membership Director of TrustMark, said:

“BPCA take the services that their trained and qualified technicians provide to consumers very seriously.

“With robust surveillance processes and a strict membership criteria we’re excited to have them join us as a Scheme Provider offering guidance and services to homeowners.”

BPCA is currently the only TrustMark Scheme Provider for pest management, so the only way to become TrustMark Registered is through BPCA Servicing membership.

The BPCA team regularly assesses BPCA Servicing members, verifying their training, qualifications and CPD.

New members will be automatically enrolled as part of the membership application process.
