CEPA certification represents secure standard moving forward

The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) has now supported 40 pest control companies to achieve CEPA Certification in the last 12 months. CEPA certification® is based on BS EN 16636, a professional British and European Standard for pest management practice. In addition to the growing number of pest control companies achieving the certification, the association has also introduced the standard to over 70 other companies through its breakfast roadshows and national exhibitions.

The certification process is audited by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification. BPCA members and supporters can learn more about the certification at roadshows, and also at exhibitions and for a run by and featuring the association. The last of our CEPA Certified Roadshows takes place on Thursday 21 July from 0830 at the Pelsis Academy, Knaresborough.

At the roadshows, attendees will learn;

  • Information on the CEPA Certified® audit and certification process
  • Marketing advice from a top PR company to maximise the benefit of certification to your business
  • First-hand feedback from auditors and companies who have already been through the audit process
  • A chance to have all your questions answered

Chief Executive Simon Forrester said,

‘The British Pest Control Association is committed to driving professionalism for the pest control sector. It is our duty as a trade organisation to support development throughout the industry, especially now given Britain's future EU exit. The CEPA standard represents a secure standard moving forward, especially as an increasing number of industry clients are recognising its value.'
