InsectoSec Tape for bed bugs debuting at PestEx

PRESS RELEASE

First-time PestEx exhibitors Andermatt UK will be showcasing the InsectoSec Tape biocide at London ExCeL in March.

InsectoSec Tape is a new biocide for the control of bed bugs. It is a novel concept, combining the insecticide control agent (diatomaceous earth) with a refuge system.

An understanding of bed bug behaviour from bed bug experts Nattaro Labs has led to the development of the tape, which attracts bed bugs by giving them a place to hide, whilst at the same time exposing them to the control agent.

InsectoSec Tape lasts up to one year after installation, giving persistent control of the pest.

Dr Andrew Brown, Managing Director at Andermatt UK, commented:

"As a product for pest controllers, InsectoSec Tape offers flexible ways to be used in a program. It can add value as an additional product to place in a program or installed at the end of a treatment to offer long term control after the visit to the property.

"It also provides a cost saving and reduces repeat visits to a property, installed after a knockdown spray to give the customer peace of mind of long-term control."

We believe we have something that will help in the ongoing battle against bed bugs.

Dr Andrew Brown, Andermatt UK Managing Director

He added, "This will be our first time exhibiting at PestEx, we are looking forward to getting back to physical shows again and talking to customers.

"We believe we have something that will help in the ongoing battle against bed bugs. Something novel and cutting edge which will help add value for pest controllers services, and peace of mind for their customers.

"Already popular in the Nordics and Germany, InsectoSec Tape is new the UK and we are excited to be talking about it at PestEx. Visit us on stand 42!"
