What is BPCA Registered ‘Check a Technician’?

BPCA has launched a new tool so clients can check if a technician is on BPCA Registered, our individual recognition and CPD scheme.

Anyone can now visit our Check a Technician webpage, type in a BPCA Registered number and get confirmation an individual is on the scheme instantly. 

As a pest professional, it’s crucial your customers and clients are able to:

  • Validate your professionalism
  • Confirm that you are qualified 
  • Confirm that you keep your knowledge and skills up to date with CPD.

Your default Check a Technician profile

Everyone on BPCA Registered has their own profile on our Check a Technician page. 

This is what customers or clients who visit the site will see:

Enhanced Check a Technician profile 

You may have seen a pop-up banner asking if you’d like to add your name and photograph to your profile.

If you choose “Accept” your Check a Technician profile will be automatically enhanced to use your name and photograph on your profile page.

It’ll then look something like this:

By adding your photo and name to the profile, you’ll add another level of assurance to your profile.

Supporting your privacy

Profiles are only available to the general public when they search your BPCA Registered number. 

That means that only your clients or someone you’ve given your BPCA Registered number to can check your profile. 

What’s the point in Check a Technician?

BPCA Registered exists to support its members demonstrate their professionalism and commitment to continued development.
