The organising committee of the next International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP) are welcoming abstract submissions from those working, or researching, within the field of urban pest management.

All those keen to present a paper or poster at the forthcoming 10th ICUP event are invited to do so now via the ICUP website.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 25 October 2021. If accepted, papers will be presented at the event and published within the proceedings.

For those who have already submitted an abstract to the postponed 2020 event, further details can be found in the FAQ section of the conference website.

As previously announced, the rearranged date for the conference is 27-29 June 2022, following the disruption caused by Covid-19.

The event is to be held, as originally planned, at the prestigious Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain.

The organising committee says they are preparing a diverse and stimulating programme that combines classical urban pest management topics, with new ideas and projects.

Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr Rubén Bueno said: “A warm welcome is extended to all those attending for the first time and, of course, to everyone who has attended previous ICUP meetings. I look forward to greeting you in Barcelona.”
