Starting his career as a trainee technician for a pest control company in Lancashire, Gary has been involved in the industry for many years.

“For the last 20 years, I’ve built up a strong network across the sector, working closely with facility and building managers as a sales account manager," says Gary.

“I’m now looking forward to working with the Bayer team who are continuously striving for innovation within the pest control industry."

In his new role, Gary will be working with the Bayer pest team to lead the commercialisation of their Digital Pest Management system.

Digital Pest Management is a cloud based remote monitoring system designed to make pest control in large commercial units more targeted and sustainable, along with being more time and cost efficient.

“Digital Pest Management utilises technology to allow technicians to fulfil their roles better while creating greater transparency within pest control companies and with their customers,” says Gary.

Alan Morris, Bayer head of environmental science, says they are delighted to have Gary join the team, adding:

“Gary’s enthusiasm and commitment to the pest control industry means he will be deeply supportive of both the Bayer team and PCO’s throughout the roll out of Digital Pest Management, and his extensive knowledge of the sector will be invaluable to Bayer in the future as we continue to develop new innovative solutions."
