Returning for its second year, the On the Farm training day - hosted by leading pest control solutions manufacturer BASF in partnership with Killgerm Chemicals - will take place on Wednesday 25 June, from 8:30am to 4pm.

The event offers a practical, interactive agenda packed with expert-led demonstrations, group discussions, and hands-on sessions tailored specifically to pest control challenges in agricultural settings.

This full-day training is priced at just £60+VAT and includes a breakfast and a delicious BBQ lunch.

Delegates who hold an approved UK stewardship certificate will also receive a free 3kg tub of Selontra and a 3kg tub of Monitoring Paste to take home.

CPD points are also available for pest controllers who attend the training day.

The day will cover a wide range of topics, including a practical proofing workshop, a mole control masterclass, an insight into grain store baiting practices, Environmental Risk Assessments, plus a hands-on activity on covered and protected baiting – it’s a day not to be missed.

Laurence Barnard, Country Business Manager for BASF’s Professional & Specialty Solutions, said:

“After the overwhelming response to last year’s event, which sold out in record time and received outstanding feedback from attendees, we’re thrilled to bring 'On the Farm' back for a second year.

"This hands-on training day is designed to provide real-world, practical advice for pest controllers working in rural environments, and is one of the most unique events in the industry.

“With live demos, expert insight, and a deep dive into wider pest control management, best practice and strategies - It promises to be another unmissable day!”

The event is only held on one day, and places are very limited, so secure your place.
