Surveyor & Customer Account Manager – North West-Midlands - Alpha Pest Control

Alpha Pest Control is an independent, professional pest management business operating across the UK. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Surveyor to work with and support our National Account Manager to develop new business.

A great time to be joining a rapidly growing business, this will be a challenging and interesting role to expand our customer base across the UK.  Experience in pest control management would be desirable and an advantage to potential candidates, however, equally importantly is that the successful candidate will have the right attitude and work ethic to join our team.

Main Duties

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Build relationships with existing customer base to improve service levels and generate additional sales
  • Develop and build new business within your area & manage customer accounts where necessary
  • To undertake surveys, produce reports & quotes, produce works instructions and reports
  • Seek new sales opportunities and respond to all leads in a professional and efficient manner
  • Sales reporting, administration and record keeping
  • Attend regular meetings/reviews with National Account Manager and other senior managers & directors
  • When necessary assist the service team
  • Some national travel and overnight stays may be necessary. These will be funded by the company

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate must possess:

  • A full clean driving licence
  • Comply with DBS checks
  • Strong and concise communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent pipeline planning skills
  • Have a methodical approach to your work with attention to detail
  • Work alone or as part of a small team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and display flexibility in working hours

Desirable Criteria

The following criteria would be desirable but is not essential:

  • Previous pest control experience
  • A strong sales ethic with an eye for an opportunity
  • Customer service skills
