BPCA/RSPH Level 2 qualified Pest Control Technician 

The successful candidate will join an established team of qualified Pest Control Technicians in delivering a unique service delivery to their customers, including commercial businesses such as restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, retail stores and educational establishments.

About the Pest Control Technician role:

You will travel daily to customer sites throughout Northern Ireland to inspect customer premises and report on status of premises on levels of pest infestation.

Other duties include:

• Organise and undertake a programme of treatments using pesticides to control pests.
• Write reports (as required) on all inspections undertaken to include details of treatment.
• Undertake minor proofing works to prevent pest infestation.
• Attend training and company meetings to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Being on an on-call rota, 1 week in every 4
• Carry-out planned overtime where required to meet the needs of the business
• Any other “ad hoc” duties as required

About you:

You will hold a RSPH Level 2 or BPCA Part 2 or equivalent in Pest Management and have a minimum of 2 years previous experience of working in pest control, ideally at Senior Technician, Field Biologist or Supervisor level

Other skills and attributes required:

• A full and clean UK driving licence
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• A flexible approach to working hours is a must for this role
• Highly motivated with the ability to use your initiative
• Well presented
