Description
Work portfolio will be varied, including (but not limited to): Biologist inspections at large (Bakeries, Airline catering sites, Meat processing Plants) and small retail sites; pest awareness courses and quarterly review meetings with customers; training courses for staff; problem solving at difficult sites; covering routine work during staff holidays and sickness and a small portfolio. Good time management and planning of the workload is essential.
Intercleanse Pest Control Limited is a medium sized company so flexible work ethics will be required.
Qualifications – RSPH/BPCA qualifications, Intermediate or advanced food safety training, Some health and safety training, good IT skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Visio and Power point) and good reporting skills. Experience with drawing site plans or basic plans.
Graduate qualifications will be advantageous although not essential.
BPCA Certificated field biologist qualification will be an advantage. Candidates who do not have this qualification will be mentored and assisted to ensure that they attain this qualification.
Experience in driving quality and carrying out quality audits on technicians will be essential.
You will be provided with all of the equipment necessary to carry out your work. This will include a vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.
Some weekend and out of hours work will be required to carry out inspections on food processing plants during their downtimes.
There will be a 3 month probationary period. Starting salary is negotiable to the right person.
Expenses incurred in carrying out your duties will be settled monthly in arrears on submission of an expense claim form. An operational float will be provided.
At least 3 years experience in the pest control industry is a requirement.
