The Post
We are looking for a qualified and experience pest control officer. You must be able to identify a range of pests and determine the most effective and safe treatment. Where proofing is required you will be able to recommend appropriate measures and carry out basic proofing. Brent Pest Control Service has quality at its heart and this should be reflected in your work and dealing with people in a sensitive and professional manner.
Our commercial contracts continue to increase and you will be required to call on businesses to promote services and secure new contracts. You will be provided with a vehicle to travel around the Borough. Therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The Person
Due to the continued demand for our services and increasing commercial opportunities we are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Pest Control Officer, you will hold a minimum of a Royal Society for the Promotion of Health Certificate in Pest Control, a BPCA Diploma in Pest Control part 1 or Level 2 RSPH/BPCA or equivalent qualification.
Experience in working with members of the public and commercial customer is essential.
You will need to be flexible with working hours to meet the timescales and targets, especially due peak periods.
As well as meeting the physical demands of the job you will also need good communication skills verbally and in writing. You will be required to enter accurate data into mobile devices, computers and tablets, as well as write detailed inspection reports
