Pest Control Operative/Canine Handler required for the Glasgow/Edinburgh area.

Are you a RSPH Level 2 pest control operative looking for your next exciting chllenge within the industry? Would you like to work with a fully trained detection canine on a daily basis?

At Merlin Environmental we have an opening for a pest operative to join the team with a desire to progress into a diffeent area of the industry. We utilise detection canines to assist us with our work on some of our large national contracts and some of our smaller chains that we cover. Your day to day time will be split between canine detection work and general pest control duties. You will be provided with a fully expensed company vehicle that is set up to house both the canine and your pest control equipment. We will provide a fully expensed company telephone alongside an expense account.

The detection canine that you are allocated will live with you and therefore the ability to house a dog will determine the suitability of the application. We will provide and erect an external kennel structure, so again the space required for this will need to be considered. You will recieve ongoing training from our in house trainers to ensure you become a proffesional and capable handler, along with your exisitng pest control skills.
