Due to continued expansion of our business, we are looking for highly motivated and driven pest control technicians to join our team in Essex and the surrounding counties.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Carry out technician routine inspections, emergency call out visits and job work to large food manufacturing sites and small retail sites. Problem solving abilities is a must for this position.
As part of a small team you will be required to cover other areas during staff holidays and sickness.
Good time management and planning of the work load is essential. Flexible work ethics will be required.
Some weekend and out of hours work (remunerated as overtime or time in lieu) will be required to carry out inspections on food processing plants during their downtimes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Some experience in the food industry will be an advantage. Training and continuous professional development will be offered.
RSPH/BPCA qualifications. Any food safety, health and safety training will be an advantage.
Good report writing and communication skills are a prerequisite.
Full clean driving licence.
You will be provided with all of the equipment necessary to carry out your work. This will include a vehicle, mobile phone.
There will be a 3 month probationary period. After successful completion of the probation you will be invited to join other productivity based incentive schemes.
