CIEH Conference: discount for BPCA members

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) 2020 Pest Control Conference is shaping up nicely, with discounted entry for BPCA members.

The CIEH Pest Control Conference: Safeguarding Public Health has been organised in partnership with the BPCA and is an unmissable conference for those who work in pest control or in an industry that is affected by the occurrence of pests.

The conference will cover an array of timely topics in the field of pest control, with seven expert speakers now confirmed.

Speakers on the day will include Michael Coates, co-founder of Combat Pest Control and Paul Charlson from the National Pest Advisory Panel (NPAP).

Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the latest legislative guidance and learn about the practical tools available in the industry.

Additional sessions from Dr Niall Moore, Chief Non-native Species Officer for England and Dr Cyril Caminade tenure track fellow, Institute of Infection and Global Health at the University of Liverpool will cover the impact of climate change on pests and the influx of non-native species into the UK.

Robert Mayho, Chairman of NPAP, will also provide a practical guide to rat and mouse control for pest control technicians working in urban environments and Kevin Higgins from the BPCA will explain how to work with pest management suppliers in securing the right tenders.
