Founded in 1999, Albany provides pest management to many of the capital’s leading restaurants, bars, hotels, and residential properties throughout Greater London.

Originally from New Zealand, Graeme moved to the UK over twenty years ago after serving with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. He is an experienced and commercially driven executive with extensive experience in a range of industries, including finance, medical, IT, and telecoms, and has worked throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.

On taking up his new role, Graeme commented:

“I’m delighted to be joining Albany and Orkin UK. I have been aware of the company for several years and been impressed by the culture that clearly values and actively encourages colleagues to develop successful careers with Orkin UK.”

I want Albany to be all that it can be within the wider Orkin UK business. The brand has a great reputation and I hope to be able to build on the excellent work done to date.

Graeme Cleland, Orkin UK

Albany is one of Orkin UK Service’s four principal brands: the other three being Guardian Legionella Services, NBC Environment and Safeguard Pest Control.

Welcoming Graeme to Orkin UK, managing director Kristian Dales said:

“I wish Graeme every success in his new role. His experience across a range of industries will be a valuable asset in helping continue the expansion of our Albany business.”

Orkin UK said that since 2016, they have been expanding their reach and expertise through strategic acquisitions. The combined businesses of Orkin UK make it the third-largest pest control and legionella business in the country.
