PRESS RELEASE

London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) has donated two timber summer houses to Early Start to enhance the facilities at two sites in East London.

Early Start is a small company based in London, providing a range of services including day care nurseries, family contact and support services in partnership with Newham Council.

There are two Early Start Education nurseries offering a nurturing and caring learning environment where children will thrive. Early Start is also a leading provider of training, nutrition and wellbeing programmes.

Paul Cooper, Managing Director of LNPS, said: “The team at Early Start does some amazing work, so we approached them to see if there was anything we could do to help.

"Giving children nice places to play and spend time is incredibly important and we thought the summer houses would give them huge amounts of pleasure over the coming years.”

One of the summerhouses will be built at the Family Contact Centre in Forest Gate and the other at the Susan Lawrence Nursery in Manor Park.

Managing Director and Head of Nursery, Justin Elder, added: “Being outdoors supports children’s confidence and allows opportunities for big-scale and imaginary play.

"The structures will improve our gardens by creating an area where children can be outdoors, shaded from the sun during the warmer months. In the winter the summerhouses will extend the children’s play areas and be used for storytelling and other creativity activities.

“We have been talking about needing the summer houses for a long time but didn’t have the funds. When LNPS stepped in and offered to help we were absolutely thrilled and very grateful.”
