Join the BPCA Executive Board: Put yourself forward now

ASSOCIATION

BPCA is on the lookout for new Executive Board Directors to help shape the future of the Association.

New board hero

With four vacancies available, the Board is looking to strengthen its governance by welcoming new voices and perspectives from across the spectrum of membership categories. We’re particularly interested in individuals with a solid track record in managing business finances or strategic development.

Whether you’ve worked as a senior manager, business owner or financial lead, your expertise could help guide the next stage of BPCA’s growth.

Skills we’re looking for

Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially those who bring fresh thinking or under-represented perspectives to the table.

In particular, we’d love to hear from people who:

  • Have experience running or managing a business at a senior level
  • Are passionate about driving equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Have experience in business finance (especially welcome)
  • Younger business owners or senior leaders.

If you have other relevant skills you think would benefit the Board, we’d encourage you to include these in your application.

What’s involved?

The Board meets regularly to help guide the direction of the Association and ensure it remains well governed. All Board members are expected to support BPCA’s Values, Mission and Vision, and align with its long-term strategy. Terms of office are three years to start with.

Successful applicants will receive a full induction, governance training, and ongoing support and reviews throughout their tenure.

While this is a voluntary, non-remunerated role, you’ll gain valuable leadership experience and the chance to influence the wider pest management sector.

How to apply

Applicants must be eligible under BPCA’s Rules and will need to complete the official application form.

If a BPCA member company employs you, you’ll need their authorisation to stand and to confirm you have the time and support to fulfil the duties of the role.

The Board will arrange for all applications to be reviewed to ensure they have been properly completed and candidates are eligible to stand.

Valid nominations will then go to the full BPCA membership for a digital vote.
