Wanted: Media-savvy pest management companies

BPCA is looking to get a list of members together who are interested in being interviewed by the biggest news outlets in the UK.

Mouse on shredded paper

We’re regularly asked by news organisations to provide comments from professional pest controllers about pest related issues in the UK.

The plan is to have a list of members that are willing to be added to a list that can be distributed to organisations, such as the BBC or national newspapers when requested.

In the past, BPCA has been asked to provide members to appear on television – most recently for ITV’s Judge Rinder.

If we can get enough organisations together, we will add “media enquiries” to our Find a Pest Controller referral tool.

Why should you join the list?

By providing comments to press sources to you can get free PR coverage which can have a huge on impact business.

Imagine being able to tell your clients that you’ve provided comments on pest issues for the British press.

Even if a local paper uses your quote and prints you company name, this could help you generate local leads from interested domestic or commercial readers.

Our press list will also be our first point of control when we need comments for BPCA press releases or comments on articles in PPC magazine.

BPCA members only

We want BPCA members to be the go to individuals when the media need sound, qualified and professional pest comments.

Servicing, Manufacturing and Distributor and Consultant members are all welcome to join the list.

If you’d like to join the list, please fill out our quick form.
