MP Environmental is a multi-award-winning, female-run pest control business based in Kent, providing professional pest management services for both residential and commercial clients.

The company prides itself on its ethical and holistic approach to pest control, focusing on long-term prevention, environmental responsibility and exceptional customer service.

Michelle and her team are dedicated to protecting homes, businesses, and communities through safe, effective, and sustainable solutions, all while raising industry standards and supporting local initiatives.

The tenacity, creativity, and resilience of female entrepreneurs, plus an unwavering drive to succeed, truly took centre stage at the awards.

Each winner, carefully selected by an expert panel of judges from hundreds of entries, has showcased exceptional innovation, strong leadership and a passion for their industry.

The Best Businesswomen Awards were created eleven years ago to celebrate the achievements of female-led businesses and charities across a diverse range of industries.

Open to all female business owners, the awards highlight the business acumen, drive and dedication of talented businesswomen who are all inspirational role models.

Debbie Gilbert, founder and organiser of the awards, said:

“Running a business is both exhilarating and challenging. These awards were established to recognise and celebrate the women who are visionary leaders, who step forward with passion and determination.

"Our judging process is rigorous, and earning a place among our winners is a significant achievement. Each of our winners are incredible women who have demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

"They truly embody what it means to be an outstanding entrepreneur.”

Michelle Pope, founder of MP Environmental Pest Control, added:

“It’s very humbling and somewhat surreal, it’s just something you get on with and do! I’m not normally one for putting myself in the spotlight.

"I believe it’s a team effort, from my own team to the great friends I’ve met along the journey who continue to encourage me beyond my comfort zones.

"Networking and award ceremonies certainly come at the top of those comfort-zone boundaries, as anyone who knows me will agree!

"We’re a small but mighty team of three, myself, a full Pest Management Technician, and since July this year, a trainee. We also work with trusted subcontractors for HR, social media, and credit control. I couldn’t do it without them.”

Well done to Michelle and team!
