BPCA launches WhatsApp noticeboard for members - BPCA Insider

COMMUNICATIONS

BPCA has launched BPCA Insider, a new WhatsApp community noticeboard designed to give members and volunteers quick, direct updates from the Association.

Emails stack up. Social media moves quickly. PPC magazine arrives with good intentions, but the day job gets in the way.

How do you stay up to date on what your Association is doing on your behalf?

BPCA Insider is a one-way WhatsApp announcement board, exclusively for BPCA members and volunteers. There are no group chats and no endless notifications. Just short, useful updates every couple of weeks to keep you in the loop without filling your inbox.

What you’ll get

Members who join BPCA Insider can expect:

  • A brief update post roughly every fortnight
  • Behind-the-scenes photos from the BPCA team
  • Occasional lightning polls to gather quick member feedback
  • Important Association and industry updates before they’re shared more widely.

What you won’t get

Just as importantly, BPCA Insider is not:

  • A channel for promoting training courses or events
  • A stream of daily marketing messages
  • A group chat.

Each update will be written by a member of the BPCA team. It isn’t automated, and it isn’t a sales tool. It’s simply a direct, practical way to strengthen communication between members and the Association.

Scott Johnstone, BPCA Communications Manager, said:

“The idea for BPCA Insider came from BPCA’s Outreach and Communications Committee, who have been exploring ways to improve the flow of information between members and the Association.

“This new noticeboard is a straightforward step towards making it easier for members to stay informed – without spamming your inbox”.

Who can join?

BPCA Insider is available to:

  • BPCA member company main contacts
  • Authorised contacts with the permission of your company’s main contact
  • Approved volunteers and committee members.
