VOTING OPENS in BPCA member elections - 13 candidates stand for SIX places on BPCA Board

YOUR ASSOCIATION

Voting has officially opened in the BPCA Member Elections 2025, with 13 nominees standing for SIX open seats on the Executive Board.

We recently advertised vacancies for four volunteer Member Representative Board members. However, due to the overwhelming response, we've increased this to SIX open vacancies.

board voting opens

Full members of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) now have the opportunity to help shape the future of their Association by electing fellow members to these influential leadership positions.

Each company receives an equal opportunity to choose the Association’s leadership, ensuring that BPCA is always run by members, for members.

Lorraine Norton, BPCA Company Secretary and Operations Manager, said:

“We’ve had loads of interest in director vacancies this year, and I’m pleased that we have 13 eligible candidates going to a member vote.

It’s a big commitment to be a BPCA Board Director. You play a key role in shaping the direction of the Association and ensuring that member voices are heard far and wide. Directors give up a minimum of ten working days a year attending and preparing for Board meetings and making decisions on your behalf, so please take a moment to learn about the candidates and cast your vote wisely”.

What we’re looking for

BPCA encourages members to vote for the individuals they believe will best represent the interests of the Association and the wider pest management profession.

This year, the Board is particularly keen to welcome candidates who:

  • Have senior leadership or business management experience
  • Are passionate about improving equality, diversity and inclusion in our industry
  • Bring expertise in business finance
  • Represent younger business owners and emerging leaders in pest management

A diverse and forward-thinking Board ensures BPCA remains responsive, relevant, and representative of all its members.

How to vote

Voting instructions have been emailed to all full-member main contacts. Members can vote for up to SIX candidates, with voting closing at 5 pm on Thursday, 5 June 2025.

If your company hasn't received voting information, please contact the BPCA Membership team immediately at membership@bpca.org.uk.

Election results will be announced shortly after voting closes.
