BPCA reviews Waste Code of Best Practice

BPCA is currently undergoing a review of the existing Pesticide Waste Code of Best Practice, written by BPCA for the benefit of the whole sector. By implementing this document, BPCA was able to secure a derogation on pesticide waste which saved the industry a conservative £25million. The document has been in use for two years, and we have begun the review process to ensure it remains accurate and fit-for-purpose.

We have sent the document to the respective Environment Agencies for the four home countries. But we’d also like to know if you would like any additions or amendments to the document. If you have a suggestion to improve the content, please send your proposed change to Dee Ward-Thompson by Friday 2 September via dee@bpca.org.uk
