BPCA releases CPD assignments for pest professionals

To give pest professionals a new way to keep up with their continuing professional development (CPD), BPCA is now issuing downloadable CPD assignments.

CPD for pest professionals

Karen Dawes, BPCA Training manager, said:

“Conducting research and completing assignments based around specific topics is a fantastic and underutilised way of doing some valuable CPD”.

CPD assignments are designed for pest control technicians looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of pest management subjects, guiding your research and helping you discover more about your trade.

Karen continued:

“The BPCA Technical team will set some time aside to review the assignments and the best ones will be rewarded with a certificate of excellence from BPCA, recognising the hard work that’s been put into them”.

The first assignment, which has been put together by the technical and training teams, is on the Edible Dormouse (Glis glis).

You can view the instructions and download the assignments in the CPD section of the BPCA website.

CPD Assignments

There’s no time scale for completing the assignments - you can work at your own speed and if you’re on BPCA Registered you can submit them to us for review and CPD points allocation once finished.

Your submission will be allocated CPD points based on the number of hours the assignment has taken you to complete.

New CPD assignments will be added to the BPCA website every two weeks.
