Pest advice for controlling Maggots

The layman’s term for the legless, wriggling larval (first) stage of certain insects, usually the larvae of Flies. However, you can find larvae for all sorts of species of insects including Beetles, Moths and Fleas.

Maggot-1How to get rid of Maggots

If you are experiencing a high volume of Maggots, you should be able to find an adult version of the insect within the vicinity, and therefore be able to identify the pest problem you have. Knowing what the pest is, will be essential to resolving the problem.

If you're struggling to identify the pest and have a large infestation of Maggots, then we would recommend you contact professional pest control company, preferably a member of the BPCA to investigate and administer a professional treatment to solve the problem. A trained professional will have the technical knowledge and access to a range of professional use products and equipment which are not available to the public.
