Thrip-2Mainly an agricultural pest, they are only considered a minor nuisance in domestic premises. They have been known to trigger fire alarms by collecting in large numbers inside smoke detectors.

How to get rid of Thrips

Amateur use residual insecticides can be purchased from you local hardware store or garden centre to assist with controlling small numbers.

For a heavy Thrip infestation, we would recommend you contact professional pest control company, preferably a member of the BPCA to administer a professional treatment to solve the problem.
